The saddest/happiest part of celluloid production disappearing - when I see actual motion picture film, I am awed by how beautiful the medium itself it is.

A buddy of mine called me about a year ago and asked if I’d be interested in some 100’ Daylight Loads of some old high speed tungsten film stock. Of course I couldn’t pass that up. All in all I think I scored about 16-100’ loads. The film is severely damaged as it wasn’t stored properly for the last 30+ years… but this is a testament for film. No matter how old and broken the stock is, as long as it’s never seen the light of day, it will render an image. Long after film is gone there will be stock out there to be shot. It’s crazy to think my grand kids may have the opportunity to shoot film as long as there’s chemical to bath in.

Watch at 1080p. The film is severely damaged and sat in a farm house in the middle of the country without any heat or air since the 80’s.

I feel high and cliche.

Earlier today two muslim guys killed a soldier in england and obviously straight away they are terrorists to the news and aerogo the public.

The whole arrested development crack has just reminded me how fucking sick I am of not sharing the things I love with other people.

I mean like TV and film are a big part of my life and I am sick to death of just having to buzz to myself and the internet, I want to share this stuff with people.

Its just this year its happened, after all my friends graduated and moved away last summer. we always used to watch mad men & community and co together, we always used to band together to the cinema on opening nights.

Just fucking miss it so much.

I assumed all my friends who like arrested development were as buzzed about the new stuff as I was, therefore not making plans for Sunday and assuming we’d all be watching it together but nah.

Its looking like im the only person who actively made sure I had sunday free and its looking like I’ll be watching it alone.

Which makes me canny sad.
